A local company around my way who are a pretty big business has recently posted some flyers. The businesses primary purpose sells printers and ink with pc accessories on the side. They are always having annoying blinkin adverts on the radio.

Anyway these flyers I think take the pee a little. One side is a big advert about what they sell. It goes and I quote

"WOW !! No more expensive Nintendo DS/DS Lite Games."

"Buy the new R4 card and put all the games you like on for free, Only £24.99"

Then it has a picture of a microsd card + R4 = Mario Brothers.

Crazy eh.

It's a little bit questionable ethically advertising in that fashion. IIRC, while the R4 card isn't illegal, I'm pretty sure that Nintendo would have a thing or two to say about it being pushed like that.

I'm sure that the Advertising Standards Agency would object to an illegal activity being advertised too.

Exactly what I was gonna say, but I had typed way more words and lost the plot in the process... but ahem like he said :)

The R4 is still technically legal here (because it's sold without any 'OS' on it, it's just a flash card at the end of the day), but is now illegal in Japan.

I would send a few images and the shop's contact info Nintendo's way. You never know, you might get a thank you :).
