Advice about resolution

Hi,

Im looking at buying a new 19" widescreen monitor which has 1440x900 as its max res. Ive looked at the resolutions that my graphics card supports but this doesnt appear to be there. If i buy the monitor will it work effectively or will it be a case of getting a new graphics card or will drivers for the card be the answer? See sig for graphics card.

The resolution will be available to select when you connect the new monitor. Thats what happened with my widescreen. AFAIK nvidia forceware supports 1440x900

any reasonable card should....

you *might* have to force it to show all "unsafe" resolutions, but its just a tick box, then you can choose it...
