Two problems I need help with

First....Just been asked by a friend who has a 9yr old daughter who wants one of these small laptops (netbook?) that all the kids seem to be using........anyone know which one to buy and from where? My mate was originally going to buy an iphone for his daughter and he's still not sure if this would be a better option for her as all she wants to do is chat/send messages and browse the net any advice on either would be appreciated

Second.... I was using a friends laptop Dell Latitude E5500 and I have opened the PC card slot and now I can't close it the little button to the right wont stay in god only knows why I pressed it in the first place

Right I got the second problem sorted found this bit of info and managed to get it back in

PC Card

1. Hold the card with its orientation symbol pointing into the slot and the top side of the card facing up. The latch may need to be in the "in" position before you insert the card.

2. Slide the card into the slot until the card is completely seated in its connector.

If you encounter too much resistance, do not force the card. Check the card orientation and try again.
