Hi guys, im looking for a really silent case, with excellent air flow (isnt everyone).
I have an AMD 3800, 3gb RAM, ATI X1900 xtx etc etc
Ideally it needs to be black and asthetically pleaseing.

I was looking at the Antec:

£100 is about my budget.

Suggestions :)

ooh.. the Thermaltake VE2000BWS Armour LCS Super Tower - Black has built in water cooler..

would eliminate CPU fan, and looks nice too.
Is that particular pump likely to be noisy?

What dya think of the Akasa Eclipse.
It may not be the best looking case on the planet, but your going to be looking at your monitor, not the case.
Probably the best case available for cooling a system, and is practically silent.

ive got an enermax CS-718 sittign here, and it looks like its gonna be very windy in there.
it has a wind tunnel installed in there too, and the front is totaly mesh. with space for another 80mm ( not that youd need it )

Another vote for the Eclipse, beats the P180 as you want excellent air flow, very easy to get the Eclipse to be silent aswell.

Antec Solo-

Dampened panels to reduce noise.

Has built in wire-management for airflow and has the string/rubber to hold up hard-drives. (They DONT snap now).

Looks great!!!

yeh another vote here for the 810. i used to think they looked big and stupid and now i love the fact i can change stuff in my case without ripping everything out to get at components.

cant knock a nice lil pair of yate loons if ya can get your hands on them also

Oh, I agree, about this time of night, I appreciate a nice pair of yate loons. Papst, panaflo, yate loon are all excellent. I just happen to have loads of Ambers as they are quite cheap and very easy to source.

I buy very little by mail order. There isn't a stockist handy for me. Maybe if they got themselves into the market a bit more, more people would appreciate them.
