Advice buying new monitor

Hi there,

I am looking for a monitor mainly for watching movies but also for using as a display for my laptop to work (I have this 3 options:

-Dell SE2717H
-LG 27MP59G-P
-LG 32MP58HQ-P

The minimum requirement is a 27" display but a 32" of the last LG would be better but is a bit off the budget which is 200€/220$.
In spite of this, i have some fear that a 1080p 32" would suffer a lot right?


Please help me out with this ones or recommend me another one as I am in a urgent need of a display!

Have a look and see if you can afford a 29" 21:9 monitor. They are built for movies! Not much point in getting a 16:9 monitor if it's just going to be mostly black bands.

If you look at other makes too theres an AOC 32" 1440p IPS on sale at Alza now(or at least few days ago) for £200.

Also the Hanspree 27" 1440p IPS ones go around £190. I have one if those, no dead pixels, IPS, 75Hz, great image quality out of the box.
