I have My E6600 C2D @ 3.3 GHz Stable on the striker extreme (Latest Beta Bios 1002), But cant seem to get it much further, machine posts fine but crashes on booting into windows.. Was wondering if anyone had any tips to help me get any further.. Settings at the mo are:

Vcore 1.4v, FSB is 1480
ram is 4-4-4-10 2t (Xtreem)
i have the CPU VTT also at 1.4

any help is appreciated :)

Hi , are you running unlinked? if not try unlinked at 2000 x 7 with mem at 800 and see what happens, what are your other voltages set to , like nb ,sb and vtt , you know there is a difference in bios to actual voltage for the core like on mine i ask for 1.6 and actual is 1.55 , but thats on water

I am now running the mem unlinked at 800. I have moved the cpu VTT to 1.55, still doesnt like going past 3.3 :(

Might try upping the Vcore a bit more..

The NB and SBV voltages are set to auto btw

Hi , will it boot if you stay unlinked at 2000 x 6 with mem at 800 just to find out if its a fsb problem or a chip problem

I tried that, and the machine failed to POST. I currently have it at 3.48GHz - 1545 FSB, ram unlinked at 800. rest as follows:

Vcore 1.45v
ram is 4-4-4-10 2t
CPU VTT at 1.5
NB Voltage Auto
SB Voltage Auto

Any higher and it fails Orthos, any ideas? I'm using a Titan Amanda btw, temps are about 45-50 degrees. Thanks for the help so far :)

Try setting nb and sb volts to 1.5 ,also as a test have you tryed leaving your ram timings at auto just to see if it will post a higher fsb ,this board has very strong dividers , mine wont post at 1800 but will at 2000 , but i have my nb water cooled as stock cooling isnt so good . Swiftech mcx 159 also fits

Out of interest where was your board made as some are Taiwan and some China , its printed down the rear edge
