Advice : Case Cleaning : Outside Chassis

Hi,
Was just after any recommendations for what people use or recommend to clean the outside of their PC case.

I have a HAF-X, purchased around Sept 2010, Its still in excellent condition and I clean it regularly ( as do most obsessive PC owners ), The outside cleans up ok, but although it was never a "shiny" case to start with, it's lost a little lustre so to speak, i don't see me needing to change the case any time soon as it does everything and more etc.
Would just value a few opinions on what works best ( saves me destroying it with the wrong thing etc. ).

I thought of using just some of the Car dashboard cleaner, as I said opinions welcome.

Damp cloth + elbow grease?

I've used mr sheen on mine in the past, no issues.

I use an old pasting brush ( think wallpaper paste brush) works well

I used to use alloy wheel cleaner on my Lian-Li PC-A71F, and then use car bodywork sealant (autoglym extra gloss protection).

I used Dettol multi surface cleansing wipes, great for the brushed aluminium on my A70F. Just use a damp cloth on the shinobi.
