Advice - EK-Quantum Volume FLT 120

Hi - Thinking of using a EK-Quantum Volume FLT 120 as a feature / distro plate. I would position it on the back of my case on teh rear 120MM fan mount. Loop would go from Res/Pump combo - Rad - Graphics - GLT 120 - Mobi VRM - ending at Res Pump Combo. CPU is on a seperate Loop. Just wondering if the FLT 120 would work in this scenario or if i would loose to much pressure running the loop through it.

Any input would be greatly received

I used to have mine setup that way with an FLT 120mm on the rear fan mount, and it'll work fine. It does make draining the loop a bit of a pain though, but if it's the best solution for your loop then I say go for it.

Fit a drain port on the far end port, it'll work just the same as any distro. I use 2 in mine but with D5's mounted to them and they're great no pressure loss.

The draining issue I mention is because on the reservoir-only FLT120 there is a small vertical 'divider' between the centre port and the far right port.

Ah okay i see your point, its not like the D5 pump mounted versions where they have bottom ports on both sides as well. Was gonna suggest fitting 2 drain ports but 1 with a t piece. Could still do that i suppose but wouldn't be as aesthetically pleasing.

I've just finished my build where I've installed an FLT120 on the cases rear fan position in my Lian Li 011 Dynamic XL. I think it looks quite good myself.
I'll post some pics on the forum soon.
