Hi all, just looking for some comments and feedback on this proposed setup for a new PC, looking for something that will run smooth with okish gaming capabilties for a relatively small budget. Thanks. Also do you think it would be able to run say Oblivion at medium settings.

It might be helpful if you posted the budget but this is roughly equivalent from OcUK and about as cheap as I can get it below. The graphics card is better as is the hard drive. I'm also not sure that your Ram is compatible with the motherboard, just going by the name you need DDR2 Ram but you have picked DDR Ram. :)

Thanks for that

Budget being I would like to keep it at or below £350. The only thing I'm a little concerned about with your suggestions is that the processor looks a little 'weak' was aiming for 2.3 - 4 ghz - other than that it looks good; better even.

Thanks for pointing out about the RAM, I'm not particularly experienced with this so I wouldn't have noticed otherwise :)

Ok I've changed the CPU and Ram slightly so you now have a faster CPU and the Ram should be better matched overall.

For that system, certainly. The 7600GT isn't hugely demanding and the Antec is a good PSU. You probably don't have to worry about overclocking really as the motherboard is unlikely to allow it much so the only problem would be if you added 5 hard drives. :)
