I have an EVGA 8800 GTS 512 OC to 775/2000/2100 within rivatuner. Have configured rivatuners automatic fan speeds and it never goes higher than 65 degrees at most on load (fan at 70%).

Averages at 60 degrees with 60% fan on load.
get rivatuner 2.08 and read how to set this up under Advanced Automatic Fan Control section here http://www.vaguesoft.com/index.php?pageid=rt207#fan

got an increase of 500 3DMarks over stock.

Seems the max some ppl have OC these cards on air is 800/2000/2200 but my pc BSOD's at this OC.

Hope this helps

thanks dude
ive just had a go at your settings and got the highest score ever
then tried the 800 2000 2200 and it went mental
many thanks for info and the link

Mine would benchmark at 780 but kept getting interuption when playing games saying that the driver had failed and reset itself so ran at 750 completely stable. Mine is an Albatron which came factory clocked at 720. You can also unlink the stream processors and try to push them a bit faster than stable core.

Use ATI tool for stress testing, it's a bit more effective than 3DMark IMO as 3D mark is primarilly a benching tool.

Even though its called ATI tool it does NVidea too, you want to run a scan for artifacts on it for an hour to check its fully stable.
