Evening all, new poster here

Basically im looking to get a good knowledge of building my own rigs for the future. Previously i have ordered all my parts and had a friend help with the build as i was too **** scared to spend nearly a grand and then break the thing.

Anyway this time round i've ordered a new PSU, case etc compliments of OcUK and was wondering if anyone knows of a decent book out there or website with a good explaination to the building process. I've found a few guides on the net for myself, including the one on the forum but just want to make sure i have a full in depth understanding of what im doing so i don't break all my parts!

Thanks all for any help/direction you can provide, cheers.

Yah, just read the stickies and lurk here a lot. Seems like you're genuinely willing to learn (unlike a couple of ppl lately who have actually gotten pissy because we wouldnt jump and do everything for them), so can't go wrong really.

Got a couple of exams in the way then i think it'll be time to jump in head first as you say. Shall be reading your guide and lurking about as recommended too of course. Cheers for the help, no doubt i'll screw up and hassle you guys like crazy to help me fix my ****-ups. Thanks again
