my current 8800GTS has just packed in so I am in need of a new card to replace it with. my system is a little old so am runnng vista 32, E6600 duel core and 2gb ram. I am looking for a card that will run well with the current set up, wut will also be useful when i upgrade the rest of the syestem in the next 6-12 months. Considerations are the temperature and noise that the card runs at, as I don't have any elaborate cooling systems. In terms of budget looking at about £150-£160. To date I have always had nvideas but the current radeons seem to be getting good reviews. I have found the following cards, any thoughts on which would be best for my system or any other recommendations you may have.

Take out your third link - you can't link to competitors.

I'd suggest you get the XFX HD4870, especially since it's on offer. Makes sure you clean out your Nvidia drivers beforehand though!
