advice for choosing game I got free with AMD purchase

Hi

Wasn't fussed about getting free games but I have them so...
I've got a choice between Tom Clancy Ghost Recon or Borderlands 3.

I prefer to play either puzzle or adventure games (Prey, Bioshock, Tomb Raider, etc). The first game (Ghost recon) just seems like I go round shooting and killing (which gets dull pretty quickly for me) but Borderlands seems very 'arcadey'.

In both cases I have absolutely no interest in multiplayer online gaming - so if that's what they're about it's a non-starter.

In truth I don't really know much about either and watching YouTube playthroughs can only take you so far.

So which, if any, would you say was the best game and the best game 'for me'.

Can you 'gift' these games to others (I wouldn't want anything for them) if they both turn out to be not my thing - I really don't have the time to spend on games I'm not completely into.

Out of both of those, and based on what you like, I'd say Borderlands as it's got some adventure to it (as it's an first person action RPG shooter), rather than your stereotypical online first person military-style shooter like GR: Breakpoint is.
 
Breakpoint is meh and that is me pushing myself to play it as I had it free, otherwise would not. From sounds of it you would dislike it as there is a lot of rinse and repeat in terms of attacking outposts etc.
