Hello, I’m new to Overclockers forums. I was hoping someone could advice me on what GPU bracket would be best for the new 5000 series GPU’s being released.
I plan on purchasing one on release. But there are concerns I’ve noticed with previous GPU’s main one being GPU sag. I’ve been watching YouTube videos of pcp’s being cracked on the right hand side connectors.
Issues with pcp even when supported with support the pcp’s have curved due to temperatures.
I’ve never had a large GPU that’s why I’m asking for advice I currently have a 3070 which is pretty small.
I currently have a GPU bracket installed that come with the LIAN LI EVO XL ready for when I do get one. The clearance doesn’t seem very big though.
It’s just allot of money to spend on an item where the manufacturer will not honor the warranty and to put it plain I don’t wanna get done over.

Do you have photo of you case?

Just look at the usual places, the one I got was only a couple of quid, it's a base with a rod and a sliding L shaped arm.

Yes that's the brand I use to build systems for people. Also non-ARGB versions. Personally I always vertically mount my GPUs.

Which vertical mount would you recommend with your experience of building pcs please Bimbleuk?

Seen another where it fits onto the right side motherboard standoffs.
Yeah that’s the one I installed that comes with evo xl case.
