Advice For New Build

I've not looked at PC components for years so could use some advice on parts for a new build. I have already bought the following:

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Crucial T500 4TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 M.2 Solid State Drive
Corsair Vengeance RGB EXPO 32GB (2X16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C30 6000MHz Dual Channel Kit

I was looking at this motherboard since adding a 4th ssd doesn't restrict the gpu to x8 speed:

Asus ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming WIFI (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard

Are there better alternatives to the motherboard for the money & what is Asus build quality like now as I'm seeing some bad reviews about them?

I'm undecided whether to get a 9070xt or pay the extra for a 5070 ti.

Please recommend a reasonable air cooler for the CPU that is quiet. I will likely change to custom water cooling later to make it quieter as I already have a load of old kit so would just need blocks and used to find gpu fan noise loud when they are under load so assuming that won't have changed.

PSU: I will use my old Coolermaster 850W
Case: I will use my old lian li case.

This will mostly be used for gaming at 1440p possibly with some video capturing / editing down the line.

X670E is fine if you're comfortable with dumping USB4.

Cooler: I'd just get a peerless assassin/phantom spirit, especially if you won't be using it for long. A custom fan curve might be required for best results.

Do you do anything that benefits from nvidia hardware/software? VR? Video work is generally fine with RDNA4, so far as I know.

Yeah I'm not to bothered about USB4 at the moment. Video capture / editing would be using OBS Studio and DaVinci Resolve and there won't be any VR.

Nvidia drivers are in a bit of a shambles at the moment unfortunately, which would make me lean toward the 9070X personally unless you have a strong preference for DLSS over FSR4 and intend to play a lot of RT heavy games.

I'm unsure as to whether your editing/capture software benefits from Nvidia or not.

It looks like the 5070 ti is about 10% faster than the 9070xt so probably similar to gaming performance difference between the two.

My laptop has a Nvidia graphics card so I have experienced a couple of the driver issues this year.
