Dear All,
I'm looking at replacing the Power Supply for an old PC that I have, but I am not sure what I should be getting. I iwas looking at getting a reliable corsair box, but
as the whole machine seems to have died, I can't get the necessary specs to use the PSU Calculator Here:
http://www.corsair.com/psufinder/default.aspx
This is what I have gleaned:
Pictures of the old PSU -
The Graphics Card being used in the machine has a serial code R96-D3, so I have deduced it is:
****value PowerColor RADEON 9600 256MB (R96-D3)
I am unsure what the Processor is. There is only 1 hard-drive.
This is an old machine, but it was pretty reliable and I was using it to play videos and occasional record tracked music (using Cool Edit Pro), so I'd like to get the power back!
I would appreciate some advice in which PSU to purchase.
Regards,
childofsai
