Advice for settings on new 5070ti

Hi guys,

I just got the new 5070ti and I was just wondering if there are any settings you'd recommend and if I should overclock the card?

Also, strangely enough, MSI afterburner has completely stopped working since I installed the new GPU, is that normal and do you know any way to fix that?

And finally, there's a setting on the GPU, silent mode or gaming, I think it's set to silent but should I change that to gaming or just leave it?

The one I got was the MSI Gaming Trio OC edition.

Afterburner will probably need reinstalling with the latest version.

Id also get GPU-Z to make sure you have all your ROP units

I saw a youtube video about the ROP units thing, not that I even know what a ROP is lol

On the youtube video on GPU-z this guy only had 88 Rops so he said he was missing some.

I've just installed GPU-Z and it says 96 / 280 so I think that means my GPU is ok and I'm not missing any, is that right?

96 Rops is correct for a 5070TI.

The silent or gaming switch selects the fan curves that affect cooling and noise. And occasionally max boost.

Looking at reviews of the gaming trio there is almost no difference. So just leave on silent in my opinion.
