Hi all,
I'm planning to use my PC (once upgraded) as both an everyday PC and a Steam machine.
The box will be located in my study, where there will be 2 monitors on my desk.
Whilst in this room I will use the PC with a keyboard & mouse for web browsing, coding etc using the dual screens.
In my living room I have a TV and plan to use a wireless 360 controller with Steam's "big picture mode" for a console-ish gaming experience.
I'm not sure how best to easily switch between the 2 modes. By default I would like to have Steam running on the TV in the lounge, with some way of easily switching the main display to one of the monitors when I need to use it as a conventional PC.
Ideas in my head at the moment consist of either using HDMI switch hardware, or some fancy scripting/code related automation.
Note that the study and lounge are adjacent and any required cables can be run through a vent in the wall.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
