Hi,
Im looking at upgrading my pc as I have recently bought black ops cold war and its struggling to get over 70 fps at 1440p

My set up at the moment is;

AMD Ryzen 5 Six Core 2600
MSI B450M Mortar (Socket AM4) (I previously had a mini case but now gone to ATX)
Asus Radeon RX VEGA 56 ROG Strix OC 8GB
1Tb ssd, 500gb ssd, 120gb ssd and 1tb HHD

What should i upgrade first? CPU or GPU? Ideally Id like to get as close to 100fps on Cold war at 1440p as possible. Id like to keep the budget "sensible". £500 if I can.

Thanks.

Biggest performance increase is going to be a new gpu, something like the rtx 3070 but availability is an issue. Upgrading your cpu is only going to give you a small increase in frames.

Wait few days for AMD to release RDNA2 cards.
That should bring more competition to that price segment.
(and certainly more VRAM than in new consoles unlike Nvidia putting less to 3070 than new Xbox has GPU usage intended memory)
