Hi guys, i was woundering if anyone could help me, im looking for a case, and what i want is one that has decent air flow, i dont mind noise, (within reason!). but i just want one that is designed (as in i dont need to take a dremel to the case!) to hold lots of fans that are well placed (would be ace if it comes with them!), inside the case i will be wanting atleast..

1 external 5 1/2
1 external 3 /12
2 internal 3 1/2

all cooling in the case (eg on cpu, gfx, nb) is fans only, so i want it to be as cool as possible

MAX dimensions are
Depth: 50cm
Height: 55cm
Width: 32cm

any suggestions? also my budget is around the £40 mark idealy but i can strech if the case is perfect for me (stech means upto £80 maybe)

i know im asking a lot but its worth a shot eh ;)

cheers

airflow depends on how cluttered your case is, if there are wires blocking everything there will be little. a lian li pc7 is top so i hear. or if you want a HUGE case go for the asaka eclipse 62.

Maybe you would consider getting one of those zalman brackes and mounting an extra fan aswell if you want loads of cooling on the gfx/pci slots

oooo two very nice suggestions, i love massive cases, that akasa one looks very nice, but lian li one is also..

well thank you very much

any other ideas much welcomed!

Antec Super Lanboy is the other obvious recommendation, either of these three cases mentioned you will be very happy with, all are top top cases and offer superb value for money.

PC7+ gets my vote, cracking buy for the money.

i feel kinda bad but i love those cases but the price tag attached to that akasa argh, anyway

for what i want i belive this is my best bet

has an ever so slight "tach" feeling about it, but what you expect for paying £47!

i quite like its size and layout

thanks again guys, who knows if i find some money before i purchase this i could change my mind

thank you

Stackers have better airflow, buy another two drive modules and you have three 12cm intake fans, 12cm side fan, 2 x 12cm exhaust fans, 8cm top fan, and the PSU fan.

Does not mean it will cool better than an Eclipse with 3 fans though, especially at quiet noise levels. :)

More fans does not always mean a cooler case.

Pretty much a given that 3 in, 3 out is better than 1 in , 1 out (if using identical fans) especially if you have several 7200rpm, fan in front of each hd, instead of still air (or natural air convetion)

hehe, im afraid with wanting to spend the least amount of money possible (unless i fall in love with something more expensive) i think i will be getting the Soprano tower, air flow might not be the *Best* but its £47 and im loving the crap loads of 3 1/2 space :)

pc-7 does look nice however, hmm we will see i might end up getting it, still gonna be a while before i buy anything. my budget was kinda raped aswell in that i saw this and decided i needed one..

hehe just decided against, figure theres nothing wrong with my evo33 cooler and gives me more money to buy a pc-7

yep its decided, Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS Silver Aluminium here i come :D

thanks for the advice guys

They come with 2x120mm stock and a space for an 80mm fan at the top.

If you want a good cooling solution, than I suggest buy:

2 x 120mm Akasa Ambers
1 x 80mm Akasa Amber
1 x VGA Cooler (Zalman VF900)

:)
