My sons Pc crashed and is poorley. It is an old system that has been in our house for quite a few years. Xp1800 Cpu and 256mb memory 300w Psu and onboard graphics Running Windows Xp.. I dont know to much about the brands etc etc and what mobo it is..
Here is were you come in I have a budget of £300- 350 and wondered what I should be looking at in forms of specification I could get for the above price.My son has a monitor and speakers and soundcard and mouse. He mainly uses it for internet access(wireless) and surfing and playing things like Champ Manager and games of similar spec nothing taxing.
Could anyone give me an Idea of what I could get as I have looked at loads of budget units but am getting confused with the different parts they are quoting for.. I dont want to build it myself as I dont have time and I am not really intrested in computers to the extent that I want to build one.
