hi guys,

i'm after some help with regard to overclocking my system.

my setup is:
Foxconn P35AP-S Motherboard
E8400
4gig Kingston Hyper X 1066mhz
Vista Ultimate x64

when i was using the x32 bit edition of Vista i had my CPU clocked on stock vaults to 3600 (400 x 9) Fsb 1600mhz and ram on 1.9v @ 1000mhz (1x2.5)

now in x64 edition it doesn't seem to like overclocking much. is this normal with a x64 software or is there anyone who can help me get these clock speeds back and stable

any help appreciated

I thought hardware was stable or unstable no matter what the O/S?

I'm not sure a new O/S can make hardware unstable per se, if the kit is stable in WinXP it stands to reason it would also be stable running Vista X64 . . unless it's a driver problem?

my thoughts exactly.
stumped as to why it wont let me clock like it did in 32bit vista.
it gives me the blue screen of death after 30mins of running applications etc.
