Couple weeks ago, I scaned my PC and it found couple logs in C:\Users\shankly1985\AppData\Roaming called DClogs.Stolen.Data with in theses files, where my passwords to bank etc.
So I remove them, do am complete virus scans with avast and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and they come clean. I also changed all my passwords.

This part is worrying me I had a Pass-worded 7.zip file on one of my hard drives and when I just went to look its gone?
Could a virus take a file out of a folder without avast picking it up? the folder is not shared and my PC keeps coming up clean when scanning.

Any very good scanning software better then what am using now to give PC a full system check?

I have had zero temps at entering my Bank or paypal has they need my phone and I would know.

Thanks for any input..

I can't comment on the the file out of the folder issue however I didn't think that was possible to delete a zipped file and believe it would just delete the entire folder. Best someone else answers this for you.

Please look into something called "truecrypt" and use this to make a volume to store hidden files/files that need protecting as it's more secure than a zip file!

Thanks mate will go look now. I just not 100% sure if I have deleted the file  but I cant remember doing so, I just created a text file in same folder and called it Bank Password but nothing in it. Going to leave it in there and if it go's I know something is up.

Just cant understand why all scans are coming up clean... But there again am not sure if I have deleted file by mistake now

I found Trucrypt an ease to use, basically you make a volume lets say it's called "movies" and store a couple of bogus files you don't care about which is under the first layer of encryption perhaps some random text document with random numbers. This data will unlock via one password.
In the second layer you put the actual data you want to hide which is only revealed with truecrypt when you enter the second password you set up.
Reasonably self explanatory to do when you use it, don't ask which encryption methods are best, I have no idea :P

Any chance it may be a normal folder and you dragged it out to put somewhere else which would then move the original copy, I've done that one myself a few times!

That what am thinking, I have put it somewhere else. I have searched and not found it yet. Looks to be gone

How many millions are missing ?, try the Geneva account!. I am sure there are many who save this info without any form of password let alone encryption.

Run a full system MBAM scan in safemode with networking. Don't forget to check for definition updates before you run the scan.

Have done, also ran a boot time avast scan came up clean. I just not sure what happened to the file. All is good tho changed all my passwords. And from what I understand no attempts at getting into my bank account.

Kinder scary stuff tho.. I was using Microsoft security essentials I blame that, I was just testing it out Not sure why I even bothered switching from avast I never once had a virus while using that software.

Whhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaa?

If you were compromised, it was because you did something silly or forgot to patch critical software & plug-ins. A/V isn't going to save you 100% of the time.

MSE dont have same protection as Avast does. MSE is just a basic virus scan, Avast is much more.
I keep all my system upto date, I been using Avast for years and never once had a virus, I go and use MSE for a couple months and find out I got a virus? and that didn't even pick it up, If I never ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware I would have never known it was there.

They both offer real-time anti-virus protection. Like I said before, your behaviour and/or failure to patch the system probably caused the infection. Don't blame the AV.
