Advice needed for 27" 2560x1440 Monitor

Hello all,

as the title suggests, I'm looking for a gaming monitor for my son. 27" 2560x1440, high refresh rate, IPS(?), budget of up to say £250, might be willing to chip in a bit more if it's worth the extra. He's currently running an Gigabyte nVidia 1660 Super with 6GB of RAM, but will probably get my Vega 64 when I upgrade sometime next year.

I ordered a B Grade LG 27" 27GP850-B for £250. I've already got two of these for my PC so I know he'll be happy with it. And the B grade price fits the bill.
