Hi all. Sorry in advance for the incoming wall of text. :P

For the last few years, I've been scraping along on minimal settings on a pre-built PC by Competitors computers. Until recently I've never really bothered looking at the individual components of a PC; the Mesh PC was bought after asking people online "Will it play this, will it play that?". After getting answered yes, I spent £500 on the Mesh PC. I thought it was a little beast until I visited my friend in Norway and saw firsthand the awesomeness of a proper gaming rig. So now, I want something like that, :)
Originally, I was going to buy a prebuilt PC from either Competitors computers. But people have warned me against this and said that I can get much better bang for my buck if I buy the parts individually and build it myself. So that is now what I intend to do.
I have set myself a strict budget of £1200 for the initial build, with the emphasis on upgrading approximately 6 months later. I don't need a monitor or periphals.

Case:
MoBo:
OS: Windows 7 64bit
PSU:
Processor: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake)
CPU Cooler:
Memory:
GFX Card:
SSD/HDD:
Extras:

I think that covers it. This will be my first attempt at building my own PC so all advice gratefully received! :D
