Advice needed :( graphics issue

Guys need some advice, it looks like my 3870x2 has died, got 3 red lights on the graphics card, and wont boot, dont have a spare PCI express card, but im sure its the card, its been RMA before, and they fixed it. But the warranty has run out, could anybody recommend a cheap and cheerfull card. I dont want to spend big as i dont play games, and might be upgrading my whole rig when SB comes out. Cheers

To be honest i dont want to spend much, because i want to change the whole rig soon, i would say max, £70?

Yeh may be, just the card looks so tiny compared to the current card, lol, but i only need it for temp.

I just want the card to be able to handle normal desktop use, and videos, but i do connect my tv as a second monitor sometimes, but not to worried about that

Yeh RJC's card is fine for what you use it for.

That card is fine for basic use... no point coughing up more for a temporary card.

Yeh true, just asked a mate if he had a spare card, he might have one, so will see if the PC boots, and if the card does the job, if it does not perform as expected, damb annoying, I think the next big card i get will have a better RMA process then Asus, then i will order the one you guys have mentioned
