Hey guys, my names John, I'm new the forums and preety new to overclocking too.

I'm after help and advice, a few weeks ago, I started overclocking my Nvidia 8800GTS 512 BFG. All was going fine, was just going up by tiny increments, and then the otherday I installed the new graphics card driver from Nvidias site and I'm unable to overclock my graphics card.

When using nTune both the core bus and memory bus sliders are on 0 Mhz when I try to use custom frequencies and are unables to be changed.

When using RivaTuner, I can adjust the frequencies on the slider, I press apply and they stay to what I've adjusted them to, then I press Ok and they revert back to their original frequencies.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Regards, Johneh.

Which driver did you dowload? There was a slightly older one that had that bug...196.21 I believe.

I wasn't aware the very latest ones had this.

Yeah, I do currently have 196.21. Just realised theres an even newer driver (released yesterday I think) I'll give this ago, I'll tell you how I get on soon.

Regards, Johneh.
