I have 2 x 320gb hard drives that I want in a raid 0 configuration & have set them up in the bios.
However, I want to create a bootable array for Windows Vista home premium 64 bit to enhance performance but have a few questions: -
I am reading the creating a bootable array section in the mediashield user's guide as my motherboard has a 680i chipset & my first question is does Windows Vista come with nvidia raid drivers because if it does apparently these drivers will be installed when i install windows & I can completely skip the creating a bootable array section?
If not then I am slightly confused following the instructions for e.g:-
It states I need a Nvidia RAID driver F6 install floppy what is this?
It also mentions to create a an F6 install floppy by using the "-X" option, then copy all files in "...\IDE/winxp/sataraid to a floppy. Can someone please explain to a novice in simple terms on exactly what I need to do to create a bootable array?
Thanks.
