Hi Guys,
I'm hoping to put together my first gaming PC soon. I am looking to a complete system (Monitor, speakers etc) and need some advice on my build. My proposed system looks like this.

Intel Core i5-4690K 3.50GHz 6MB S1150 'Devils Canyon'

MSI Z97M-G43 S1150 Intel Z97 DDR3 mATX

CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo - 4 Heatpipe, Tower CPU Cooler

Crucial 256GB MX100 SATA 6Gb/s 2.5" 7mm SSD + 9.5mm Adapter

CoolerMaster N-Series N200 USB 3.0 Micro-ATX Case

Kingston 8GB (2 x 4GB) HyperX Fury Series 1866MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM

Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 280 950MHz 3GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI WF3X

Antec VP600P - Power supply.

I'm hoping the above system will provide me with 60fps 1080p gaming for Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisition and Elite Dangerous and provide a bit of future proofing with the new console ports.

Any advice on a good 1080p monitor would be great as well, good quality speakers also. Looking at a budget of £1000 at most for everything.

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Double check the max CPU height on that case. The 212 EVO is a cracking cooler for the money however it is quite tall.

IIRC it needs 159mm clearance.

Do you have a mechanical HDD for a data drive?

How barely? I put one in an NZXT Source 210 Elite and that touched the side panel ever so slightly. On paper it should fit, however the height of mobo standoffs could be the difference between it fitting and touching.
