Advice needed on NVIDIA card purchase

The standard ref heatsinks are very good on the 780/780ti ,,,

What case do you have as the custom twin/triple fan heatsinks need a case with great air flow as they dump all the GPU heat back into the case..(which can cause heat problems with SLI/crossfire setups)
