Advice needed on setting up a wireless internet connection??

I have just put together my first system which is situated in one of the bedrooms.

I currently have 8Meg broadband from BT & want to set-up a wireless connection.

I also have an Xbox 360 which I want to connect & a laptop.

The system will be running Windows Vista Home premium edition 64 bit.

Can you please recommend a wireless set-up?
