This might be a silly question, but my system currently has two MSI R6870 OC AMD cards running in Crossfire. I was thinking of selling them both, to buy a Geforce GTX 590 card.

Question is, will i see that much difference to justify the cost?

Will the answer be, Hell yeah, like day and night.. Or hmmm maybe a little bit better.. lol

I play Xplane 10.. and need all the power I can get lol

Cheers.

Not sure what to do at the moment... Thought i would benchmark this just out of curiosity...
I just ran Cinebench and got a score of 64fps... Then i disabled crossfire, and got the same score !
So either my crossfire isnt actually working.. or Cinebench only tests single cards?

Have you got GPU-Z? It will tell you whether Xfire is running or not.

Downloaded it, and yes its running in Crossfire. I have another question tho, I had a look inside the PC, and they have one card installed in the x16 PCI slot, and the other in a x8 slot... there is a spare x16 slot inbetween them... Wouldnt it be better to have both cards in x16 PCI slots?

As above, it shouldn't effect how it's running though it may be worth trying it in the other slot. I doubt thats the issue though. Unless its a motherboard that Runs X16 X16.

What motherboard is it out of interest?
