I recently put my new system together in my old case (antec 1080AMG) and started it up today.

Ive gone into the bios(nothing else done to computer) and the cpu (Quad core Q6600) is reading a temp of 30degrees
Im using a Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro and Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound applied exactly as instructed on thier website. Ive also just installed 3 new 80mm noctua case fans. The temp inside the case is reading 53 degrees.

Do these temps seem ok?
Im a Bit worried about the case temp.

Thanks

The cpu is good upto 85 degrees before it shuts down. Most people seem to keep the CPU temp below 60 Degrees when overclocking on full load. 30 Degrees is fine. The case temp would be altered if you took the side panel off due to no airflow inside the case. If its using software, it could actually just be reading the Northbridge or Southbridge temps (Or even the power regulators). In which case, it would be fine too.
