advice needed - what to do with this.

Hey bikers,

father in law has basically given me his bike, since he's too lazy to sort it out.
Now i know pretty much nothing about bikes (do a bit about cars, if that helps).

as far as i know it's been standing around for the good part of the last 10 years and i know he's taken out the battery. Now would it be worthwile getting it up to scratch again and then selling it or literally just scrap it.

keeping it and driving myself is no option as i don't have a licence nor a storage space for it

i was kind of hoping for people to say to not scrap it, since i was looking forward to actually fixing it, but wasn't sure if it's worthwile.

so after payday i shall get some bit and start the work and also hope i find the bugger that put a load of fag butts and packet wrapping down the exhausts :mad:

will most likely do some bits to start off to actually find out in what state it is.
as well as i would not even know what a bike is worth

i will update the thread hopefully after weekend if i have some spare time after re-decorating the house.
