Advice Needed!

Hi all,

I've always played the previous GTA's and loved them, especially Vice City. I'm desperate to play GTA IV like the rest of you but I don't have an XBOX 360 or PS3. I'm currently saving for a high end PC I want to build around Crimbo time but with GTA IV out next week I just know I'm going to hate not being able to play it. I've thought about getting an XBOX 360 but to get the best out of it I'd also need to buy an HDTV, which is more expense.

So, do I get a console and new TV and put my PC off a bit longer or do I wait, save and play GTA IV on my new PC when it's released around October time?

If I get a console, which one?

LOL Nismo! Very true mate. If I get an HDTV though I'd also like to use it for bluray movies, which makes me think to get a PS3 but I do prefer the XBOX 360. That way my wife wouldnt mind me getting a new TV because she'd be getting use out of it too. Ahhhhhh so many choices!

Well after much thought I bought an HDTV yesterday, Sony Bravia 40", 1080p, 24hz true blu-ray play back, 16:000 contrast ratio. Pre-ordered a PS3 40gb with GTA IV picking it up Tuesday morning.

Dont regret it a single bit. It's awesome. Hopefully Nvidia or ATI will tempt me to build a PC this crimbo.
