Hi all,
I am currently buliding a top spec watercooled system.
I will be looking to put water on the processor, NB and a pair of GPU's.

Processor will be a QX9650

I am looking at running a pair of GPU's and depending on the MB either SLI or X Fire (Not fussed)

My question is this (and please bear in mind money no object and will be wanting to use 8GB ram) What MB would you put in your rig?

Have been looking at the Striker 2 Extream, but seems like it has had a dificult birth.

So what would you put in there?

Well, if money is genuinely no object, then you want something like the EVGA 790i board and 3 BFG GX280's in triple SLi. That'll go like a bunny with it's tail on fire, as well as costing the equivalent of the national debt of a small third world country. I usually feel (and I could be casting unfair aspersions here)that the people who post such questions in such threads are the last people who should be doing block surgery on £300 motherboards.

Have you considered buying a pre-built system?

The only reason for asking the question was because I have lost touch with Mobo's these days.
Have built H2O systems in the past so i am not worried about a little "doctoring", it is just that it has been a while and just wanted to know what you guys thought.
Thanks for your replys though.

Cool - I would wait - probably not what you want to hear, but the new HD4870X2's in Crossfire should be VERY rapid, and the blocks should be the same as the current 3870X2 so they'll be available immediately, and the best X48 motherboards as more stable than the best N790 motherboards at the moment, although everything can change very quickly.
