hiya everyone, not sure if im on the right one here. i have a
asus X58C-APO19A laptop and need a new motherboard for it,
i have searched the whole net to try and get one for my laptop
but can't seem to find one, what i would like to no is if there is another
motherboard i can get to fit my laptop any advice would be most
grateful thanks.

typically laptop motherboards are not replaceable, if you need a new one you tend to need a new laptop. Some bits like memory, hard drives and occasionally graphics cards and disk drives are replaceable but not the motherboard.
If you are suitably technical you could pull the unit apart but its like the worlds worst jigsaw

generally better to sell the drive, memory and power adapter then sell the rest of the machine as "faulty with a working screen", check how much the KB is worth, some times its also worth removing that and selling it as well...

sorry to answer your question, it will need to be exactly the same MOBO... I also forgot to add, see what the CPU is worth as well...

either that or send it in for a repair but you will probably be facing a hefty bill

simple question but how do you know its the motherboard at fault
