My 19 yr old son crashed his car into a a young womans car and wrote both off! It was his fault as he turned across the junction in front of her and did not see her car. My lad was shaken up and so was this young woman other than that she had some whiplash and has put a claim in.
This all happened on the 6th august this year.
My son was insured with endsleigh insurance at the time.
He has tried to get insurance but untill the full amount of the claim is known insurance company`s won`t insure him!

Surely this can`t be right, its almost six months since the accident.
He has rung them up several times and they keep fobbing him off.

So over to you what would you advise?

thanks in advance mondo.

Keep trying insurance companies until one agrees to insure him? Not much you can do once a company says "no" - they're not obliged to give a quote.

Just front him a policy until it's all sorted out.

Legal implications of my advice my vary. If this is read by any law enforcement/driving agencies/insurers I would like to go on record by stating that I have never undertaken in fronting neither would recommended it to anyone, except the one time above.
