Advice needed

Hey people so I have just bought a asus rog 5700xt as a little upgrade for my self and put it in to my gen 1 ryzen build (ryzen 5 1600 ) but when playing games it seem to struggle and black screen.
I have read all the black screen issues and have done everything needed but still happening.

Now do we think this could be becuase my mobo and chip are old ?

If so I want to do a new ryzen 3 chip and board 570xt but use my current ram and just add another 16gb to it. Can any help me with this.

Ram is ddr 4 3200mhz corsair vengeance lpx black 16gb

From what I've seen, I'd say this is unlikely to solve your problem. The black screen issues seem very widespread and there is more than one kind.
