I only have used about 300gb on my old 500 hard drive so I figured a 500ssd should meet my requirements for gamin and operating system and i plan to play on my 120mhz asus monitor at 1200*1090 up to 120 fps on games like planetside 2 and bf3.Do the parts ive chosen seem like a good choice or would anyone advise any changes.thx

Just a gaming rig? If so, its a bit over the top.

In games you won't notice the difference between the 3930k and the 3770k. Maybe 1-2 fps here or there. As games are mainly a GPU thing. Either will be an improvement on your 920.

Components do seemed to be specced well though. :)

Thx for the advice so far lads. The main reason I was thinking of the 3930k as opposed to the 3770 was because i already have the one gtx 690 and I figured worse case scenario I could put a second one in the case in a year or 2 if reqd rather than full new motherboard /cpu/card upgrade or is that just wishful thinking?

No, that is quite sensible thinking.. The 3770k will struggling with GTX 690 Quad SLI mainly due to the Z77 chipset.

Great Plan.. Though to save some money, (possibily to put towards a bigger power supply: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-011-XF) id suggest switching the SSD for this(http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-010-CR&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=2394) and using your stand HDD's as storage drives. :)
