Advice on 3400+ Please

My old 3400+ Clawhammer was awful for clocking. It would not even hit 2.4ghz on a MSI K8N Neo Platinum motherboard. The 2.4ghz Newcastle 3400+ are better at clocking than the Clawhammer version. Saying that i had a 3700+ Clawhammer that would hit 2.8ghz on water.

Really depends on the rest of your kit.
