Advice on 5D MKII

I am looking to upgrade from my 550D, i have a good collection of L lenses and im wondering if the mkII is worth the upgrade given it can be got for less than £1500. I do a lot of video too, so will going to a full sensor over crop make a huge difference for video?

I have a 135mm, 24-105 and 50mm f1.4, i know that last one isnt a L lens. Im also thinking of getting the 17-55mm f2.8.

Oops got it backwards, you lose the reach instead.

Nothing wrong with the 50/1.4 as it is a bit of a bargain really and I am sure you know the 17-55 won't work on the 5D

Yeh, it is really a toss up between the 2, buy the 5D or buy the 17-55 and another lens, i am leaning towards buying more glass over the 5D, i just wanted to know how much the gains are from buying the 5D.
