Advice on a camcorder please

Been looking around for a camcorder and found the Sony DCR-HC35 MINI DV CAMCORDER. It seems to be brand new as I can't find any reviews on it, has anyone used it or one like it and know how good it actually is?

I've found it for £269 and I'm considering buying it now, while it seems to be at a good price.

Any advice would be appreciated

Firstly it can be had cheaper (first place i looked had it at £262)

There is some review info here, however it does appear the HC-35 is a rather illusive model!!!

You cant really go wrong with the main brands of Camcorders.

just ordered a Canon MVX460 , I don't know much but the reviews seem great and they are in that much demand that most places have a short waiting list
