Hey all.

I'm now a proud owner of a 5d MK 2 + 24-105 as of earlier today and will be looking for a decent memory card reader as the files from the 5d are a lot bigger than the ones from my old 350.

Was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions for good quality and fast card readers for downloading images into lightroom with?

Cheers in advance :)

Any decent USB2.0 CF card reader will work fine, don't need anything too fancy unless you've got specific needs? I've got a Sandisk, got it for less than a tenner from a store in Jersey.

Nah I'm not after anything amazing, just something which is faster than my current cheap and cheerful one which I got from a certain catalogue store beginning with an a.

I shall have a look around in a bit :)

Don't forget it might depend on your CF card speed. The memory card reader shouldn't really matter with regards to speed.

the one coming from the catalogue shop begining with A is USB2 so you wont see any difference going to another that is USB2.
