I want to run the CPU @ 4GHz (like I do currently on air) and clock the 5850 as far as. Would like glowy green tubing but don't want to have to clean the loop etc. Want everything inside the case with no modding or very light modding. I do own a Dremel and jigsaw. :)

Case will be a Silverstone Fortress FT01 (unsure whether it's a B model or not) - bought it ages ago and finally getting around to using it. If it's unsuitable then please tell me, I can sell it and get something bigger if need be.

Here's what I have so far:

Am I missing anything? I'd like to spend less, but I also want to do a proper job of it. Please point out if there's any other extras I can buy to reduce noise.

p.s - the XSPC reservoir top for the Laing pump is out of stock, so any good alternatives for that?

Deionised water with something to kill algae is better than premixed fluid. Good call on coloured tubing rather than coloured liquid.

Get 15 appropriately sized jubilee clamps, and use them over the barbs to hold the tubing on. 7/16" over 1/2" barbs fits tightly, but better safe than sorry. If aesthetics matters too much to use clamps, I suggest compression fittings.

Get an M20 to G1/4" adapter to put in the reservoir, that way you can run a fill line to the second hole in the top of the res. This makes it possible to fill it without pulling it out of the case, and performance should be fractionally higher if the reservoir is always full.

You'll have to drain it sometime, a T line with a ball valve on the end is the best way I've found so far. Don't know what you're planning on using the velcro for.

Sensible spec though, good to see you've researched it before posting.
