Advice on a high end system

Would appreciate any advice on this please. This will be my first attempt at building one from scratch so any comments on compatibility or improvements are welcomed.

My budget is 2k and this is going to be for playing the latest games. I am wanting high graphics performance > Upgradability > Quiet in that order.

GPU will be cross fired.

Getting an high end gaming rig, doesn't need to cost you that much dude. Why so much ?

The PSU is OTT as a decent 800W will power a pair of HD5970 cards and an overclocked Core i7 920:

A modular PSU is worth considering.
