Advice on a new GPU

Hi im soon to be building a new machine i7 build.

Im looking to be spending around £150 on a GPU
What would you recommend? prefer NVIDIA tbh

If you could stretch the budget I'd reccomend either of these:

I'd Reccomend the Amd 7850 of the two, Less power consumption, cheaper, performs better.

Hi Craiig,

As you say soon to be building a new rig, it may pay to wait to see if the 660TI drops in price. If it doesn't, I would recommend going a little over your £150 budget and getting a 7850. I know you prefer Nvidia (me also), the current Nvidia prices are a little high IMO.

That money will get you a gtx 560ti or a 7850.

If you are will to go secondhand you could easily pick up a gtx 570 or a 6970.

my choice would be a second hand gtx 570.

If its nvidia you want the GTX 560ti is all there is for that money (new)

AMD, the 7850 sits in between the GTX 570 and GTX 580, and overclocks a lot more.

New those are your options @ £150, used. there are GTX 580's around for that.

7850. Unless you're tied into nVidia it's a better option.
