Advice on a new machine

Hi guys hope im in the correct forum. I am getting a new PC and would like to gage your opinions on the two rigs iam deciding on



the choice is between this

i take the optimsed for wow part with a grain of salt, im more concerned on the specs. I want to be able to play wow and pos starcraft 2 at the highest settings or at least higher settings. This is around the top end of my budget. Your thoughts and advice would be most appreciated

EDIT: bah you guys beat me to it while I was messin about whiting and checking builds :)

Is this just for WoW? That will be a factor in the recommendation frankly if that is all you play and what is you max budget you can spend please.

Looking at this performance comparison, a stock i3 540 (3.06GHz) performs much better than a stock Athlon II X4 630 (2.8GHz) in WoW. If you consider that the i3 is running at 4.2GHz and the Athlon II X4 is running at 3GHz, then this performance gap will widen even further. So if you will mainly be playing Wow then the i3 system would be the one I would go for.

That said, the "Cataclysm Hogger" comes with a GTS 450 graphics card and no way to upgrade it. I would strongly suggest you ask OCUK if they can install the far superior GTX 460 768MB, which doesn't cost much more.
 
My max budget at the minute is around £520 not including the operating system etc. Wow and maybe Starcraft 2 are the games i will really use it for, other then that i really only need it for developing on so im fine there.

Ya thats why I was asking his top budget and if WoW is what he will be playing. If he played everything I would say the Krypt but if its just WoW then that 540 with a 460 would be a better choice.

Carrington you might call and ask if they would up the vid card on it and how much. That being said the Krypt is by no means crap. would be a pretty solid system with an overclock which would be easy on that rig.

Can i just say i really do appreciate the time and help you guys are giving me :D

So from what your saying is the hogger will work better for wow, but the krypt will give an overall better performance with other games and stuff. I do favour the krypt tbh so let me ask this question, do you guy think that the krypt will handle wow fine, like somewhere near the top settings?
