Hi Folks,

just new to the forums :)

anyway, im looking to buy a new pc, which will be for gaming and photo editing, when i say gaming i mean Rome 2 total war, thats the only game i will be playing.

Im currently running off an old 7800gtx which is pretty poor on Shogun TW2, i can only imagine what Rome 2 would be like, my budget is 650 with operating system. No need for screen/keyboard/mouse etc.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply scot, i like the temptation of the AMD kit you posted given the price tag, but im swayed more to intel now.

RJC - Id quite like pre-built, A. Its been five or 6 years since i built a pc B. If i am saving then pre-built is the way to go.

Both my kits are to build your self don't worry about building it your self its easy just read the instructions and go slowly best part about building it your self is generally you know how to fix it yourself :) Remember tho if you do go with the intel pack that board would only do crossfire

Pre Built

I would add the 660ti and windows 8 takes you to about 775

I like the look of the pre built system you linked to. Is the 660ti quite capable of handling the like of rome 2? (i know the released system requirements arent exactly that specific at the minute.)
