Advice on a wide Curved monitor

Looking for a bit of advice as I’m going round in circles with the number of choices there seems to be!

Currently using a LENOVO Legion 7 16ITHg6 laptop for my gaming (Conan Exiles and Diablo 4 currently) driving a DELL P2419H monitor that is ok, but I’m now ready for an upgrade to give me the best experience for playing Starfield. Spec is Core I7-11800H, RTX 3060 6mb and 16mb Ram.

I fancy trying a curved monitor so my plan is to get a 34” or possibly bigger, with a budget of around £500 so im looking for advice on the best recommendations. Budget can stretch if it’s worth it.

From my initial research I’m looking at

Iiyama 34" G-Master GB3466WQSU-B1 3440x1440 VA 144Hz 1ms Freesync Premium Curved Gaming Monitor at around £350 but would be interested on further input before I order.

The next stage will be to build a new desktop to replace the laptop but that will start once I’m happy with the monitor.

Thanks, in advance

For my two cents, save harder, eat baked beans on toast for a few months if you have to, but get an OLED ultrawide monitor.

Personally, I'm waiting for the second gen Alienware OLED UW panels, announced earlier this year but no idea when they're coming out yet.

I already have an IPS UW monitor, but if I didn't, I would have plumped for the current gen OLED UW.

Had a good look at the Alienware and tbh i think it would be wasted on my usage and would double or potentially triple budget that I would rather spend on new desktop, i think i will see a noticeable improvement over my current setup with a larger curved widescreen, so anyone have any recommendations at a similar sort of price level to better the https://www.overclockers.co.uk/iiya...-144hz-1ms-freesync-premium-cu-mo-13k-iy.html

DWF Alienware is a great monitor and I have the DW version but quite pricey.

ACER, AOC, LG, Samsung, IIyama, Dell etc. all make pretty good monitors :)

Maybe try Monitors Unboxed on YT for some comparisons.
